As Indianapolis prepares to elect a new mayor in November of 2027, the African American Coalition of Indianapolis (AACI) is gearing up to ensure the needs, concerns, and strengths of the Indy's Black community are addressed in a meaningful way by any candidate looking to lead our city.
Our community doesn't speak in a single voice, of course; we have widely different experiences, perspectives, and ideas about the path forward. That's why AACI is deliberately seeking input from community members with diverse points of view.
